FAQ
Is the course only intended for people having a vaginal birth?
No. The course is intended to develop awareness of the pelvis and pelvic floor. Both structures undergo various modifications during pregnancy, which can cause discomfort. This course will help you accompany those changes, achieving a healthy pregnancy, free of discomfort, and with optimal mobility.
How do I enroll?
Enrollment is simple: after purchasing the course, you will have access to all the materials directly through this platform.
How long do I have access to the course materials?
You’ll have unlimited access to the course once you enroll. This means you can revisit the materials anytime you need during your pregnancy.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for pregnant individuals who wish to connect with their pelvic floor, improve their body awareness, and prepare consciously for childbirth. No prior experience is needed.
Can I enroll if I am in the early or late stages of my pregnancy?
Yes! You can start at any point during your pregnancy. However, the earlier you join, the more time you’ll have to integrate the practices into your daily life.
Do I need prior yoga experience to participate?
Not at all. This course is open to everyone, regardless of whether you have practiced yoga before.
What types of exercises are offered in this course?
You’ll find a mix of body awareness exercises, gentle strengthening (including Kegel exercises), relaxation techniques, breathwork, and a weekly training program adapted to each stage of pregnancy.
Do you offer extra resources?
Yes! Along with the classes, you’ll have access to complementary materials, including instructional videos, a downloadable eBook, guided meditations, and much more to support your practice.
Can I practice if I have pelvic floor dysfunction?
Yes, but always consult your healthcare provider before starting. The exercises are gentle and designed to be adapted if you have specific needs.
Is this course suitable for postpartum recovery?
While the focus is on pregnancy preparation, many exercises can be supportive postpartum too. However, for specific postpartum needs, we recommend combining it with our Online Postnatal Program
What equipment do I need?
You’ll only need a yoga mat, a bolster (or a cushion), a tennis ball, and a quiet space to practice. Optional props like a yoga block or blanket can also be helpful.
Is there any live support or community access?
Currently, this course is self-paced. However, you will have access to a private community chat where you can connect, share your journey, and feel supported, as well as occasional live sessions and Q&A events announced through The Mamifera Lab newsletter.
